I SCREAAAM FOR BB CREAM! =P
I don't use foundations (fun fact lol) I've been using BB Creams for almost 2 years now.
Thought I would share with you guys my thoughts on the BB Creams that I have been using!
This is all of the BB Creams that I currently have/are using:
Left to Right: Missha M Perfect Cover (3 of them)/ Missha M Shiny / Skin79 Diamond Prestige / Lioele Beyond the Solution / L'egere White Multi / Skinfood Aloe Sun

Lioele Beyond the Solution
(This is actually my current favorite)
*only comes in 1 shade
*comes in 1 size tube with a pump
*great match to my skin tone (around NC25?)
*gives dewy finish without looking oily
*blends very easily with medium coverage
*no fragrance
*not sure if this has SPF
Price(ebay) : around $14 for 50ml

Price(ebay) : around $14 for 50ml
(my least favorite)
*comes in 1 shade
*very watery texture
*hard to blend
*very sheer coverage
*matches my skin tone pretty well
*no fragrance
*SPF 25 / PA++
Price(ebay) : $20 for 40 g (packaging changed to a pump bottle)
*comes in 1 shade
*probably one of the darker shade BB Creams I have
*I'd say a tad bit darker than my skintone but after blending & oxidizing to your skin it is wearable
*has pearl powder in it, so it does contain a good amount of shimmer
*would be ideal for Summertime wear
*easy to blend
*very faint fragrance (pleasant)
*SPF 27 / PA++
Price (ebay) : $12-$14 for 50ml
(Another one of my favorites!)
*comes in 2 shades (I have shade 1)
*matches my skintone almost perfectly
*medium coverage
*very easy to blend
*finish is not as dewy but not completely matte
*fragrance is very pleasant (smells like aloe)
*SPF 20 / PA+
Price: $12 for 50g
(the 1st BB Cream I used!)
*I have a soft spot for this because it was the original BB Cream that got me going crazy for more!
*1 shade only
*very blendable
*light-medium coverage
*comes out of tube very dark but is actually one of the lightest BB Creams
*slightly lighter than my skintone but it does oxidize to match
*dewy finish
*no fragrance
*It says it has sun protectant but does not specify the SPF
Price (ebay) : $26 for 50g
(the pricest BB Cream I own)
(yes I do own 3 of these (different sizes & shade) lol)
*comes in multiple shades (I have shade #21 & 23)
*shade 21 is a bit light for me(but again it does oxidize), so I got shade 23 to mix with the 21
(23 is a bit dark for me, so a mix is perfect)
*has the best coverage of all the BB creams I own (medium to full)
*easy to blend
*finish is not as dewy as the rest but its not completely matte either
*Has a baby powder fragrance (I'm not too fond of)
*SPF 42 / PA+++
Price (ebay) : $14 for 50ml(bigger tube with pump) / $10 for 20g(smaller no pump)
Here are the swatches:
Right out of tube (this is enough for your whole face lol)
**the L'egere looks extremely dark but it is actually one of the lightest shades blended out on your skin
(no flash)
If you guys have any questions, let me know =)
how cool! you've tried a lot of different ones. this review is really useful, thanks so much Stacie! I've only tried the legere and the aloe one out of all the ones you have, i want to try missha abd lioele now!
ReplyDeletethanks for the review, it was very helpful! The first BB cream i have also used is the LEGERE and still do but it's extremely light on my NC40 skintone. I just ordered the Missha BB cream in No.31 so i hope that works better for me since im getting even more tanned for summer :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh you have so manny different BB creams!!
ReplyDeleteI've actually only tried one, and didn't like it so I never looked at BB creams again. But obviously after seeing this post, I can tell that there are MANY too choose from. Maybe I'll go and look at a few more BB creams before totally saying no to them all
I'm a bit behind on the times and had never heard of BB cream, now I want to try it out! Is ebay the only place we can get it in the US right now?
ReplyDeleteBb cream my fave!!!! Started last summer. Can't stop using it since! Best invention ever! I should do a repost about bb cream soon! Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteLioele is my next one to try, and you just made me want to try it more. I just got one fromBRTC to try though, I hope it works out fine. The skinfood one looks nice also, BB cream with Aloe? very interesting.
ReplyDeleteWOW! You have so many BB Creams!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for doing this post. I'm currently on the hunt for the perfect BB Cream. I don't even know what's out there. I've gotten samples of Dr. G and Dr. Jart. So far Dr. G is working alot better for me than Dr. Jart.
I was actually looking into the Skinfood one as well.
L'egere does look really dark.
I can't wait to get my hands on a BB Cream.
<3s Serena.
Whoa... in comparison the L'egere looks so much darker! And I remember it was barely yellow enough for my skin haha~ that means the others will make me look like a ghost.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reviews! I've only tried Skinfood Ginko Green and Etude House BB cream. I had the Legere White one but I gave it to my mom lol :P I really want to try the Missha ones!
ReplyDeleteI've also converted to BB cream now. Its feels so much more comfortable on the skin. I'm currently using L'egere Water Drop which I really like. Thanks for the review though, because I can refer back to this when I'm looking for another BB cream.
ReplyDeletei really want to try that legere!!!
ReplyDeleteshit yo... you gonna tell me where you got all these..you better dun tell me its from brookyn or ebay or something..
ReplyDeletethanks so much for doing this girl, it was very helpful! have you heard anything good, or tried "dr. jart+ black label detox healing blemish base bb cream (premium)"??? i think i'm gonna try the lioele and missha first, hopefully something works for me :]
ReplyDeleteyou have good collection of BB creams! I don't own a lot but now, I'm intrigued to give more of these a try
ReplyDeletemy 1st is also l'egere! ^_*
ReplyDeletei wanna try liole now, sasa just brought in..but no spf? >.<
xoxo elle
Wow so much BB creams! Thanks for sharing. Im looking to which BB cream is perfect for my NC37 skintone. Please let me know which one is best for that color. Thanks girl!
ReplyDeletei have a lot of missha too lol.i wanted to try skin 79 diamond bb cream but since we have the same shade i would save up for lioele instead. ^ ^

ReplyDeleteawesome :) i've used missha and lioele, so far, those two are the best bb's i had.wow, you don't use foundation? i'm surprised :) love your bb collections :) stay pretty~ xoxo
ReplyDeleteWow you have so many BB creams, Stacie! I only have the L'egere BB cream that you have and I think it's not too bad. But I do wish that the SPF factor is listed because I don't trust it to have any otherwise :/
ReplyDeleteThe Skinfood one is one I've been eyeing, I think it might be my next purchase once I run out ;)
Thanks for your reviews ~ <3
Your bb cream collection makes me feel a bit better (I have a lot too :X) But that's because I'm trying to find my favorite one lol. They all either match my face but not my neck because my neck is a lot lighter so even if it does "blend with my skin" it blends to my face color >__<
ReplyDeleteDid you purchase the Legere bb cream online?
oh gosh thats a lot!! and i dont even own one of those bb creams yet! im missing out!!!
ReplyDeletewow so many bb creams! i want to try misha perfect cover but undecisive about the oil control
ReplyDeleteWhoa thank you for this verryy helpful post! I like the fact that you tested a lot of them and that you can make a comparison. I've tried the Missha Perfect cover one but I had a rash from it =/ I would love to try the Lioele one but I'm afraid that I'll be allergic to it too >_<"
ReplyDeleteis this what bb cream looks like :S I've heard it from my friend enough times, now I actually know. Picked up quite a bit of knowledge from reading your blog stace.
ReplyDeleteBut I have to say, how did your about me section turn from 21 to 24 so quickly :O I didn't know you were 24 omg I thought you were like a little sister to me all this time ><
Take care now.
Helpful post! :) I am using the Lioele one :) i also purchased on Ebay for about $14. I think we bought it from the same seller. Anyway, there's so many!! The swatches are useful :)
ReplyDeleteoooh stacie you bb cream gal! nice collection! i also like l'egere but now im trying skin79's pink label bb cream. the swatches are very helpful, i want to try the lioele beyond solution next :)
ReplyDeletehi,
ReplyDeletemaybe you can consider making a post on how do you apply bb cream or foundation, using sigma187? looking at your pic, the bb cream looks so airbrush there, looks soooo smooth... do you put it by finger or brush?
i'm really eager to know... ^ ^
This is supppper duper useful :) Thanks!
ReplyDeletetime for a blog update kiddo :(
ReplyDelete*sniff* where's stacie ><
This is great! I've been looking for BB cream comparisons all over the place. The pros/cons of each and the swatches were incredibly helpful.
