Je t'aime Montréal

Visited Montréal, Canada a few weeks ago.
This was probabaly my first time out of the U.S. in a long while.
Yes, we drove 7 hours from New York City to Montréal.

But boy was the trip worth it!
It was such a memorable & fun experience.

Montréal is a mixed bag of the old & new - there is Old
Montréal where it feels like you stepped into 'little Europe' and then you head to the center of Downtown where there are blocks and blocks of bars, clubs, restaurants, and shops.

Here are some of my adventures in O'Canada!
My friend Nancy & I owning the streets of Old Montréal!
lol JK JK but seriously we are loving the Cobblestone streets!

I love the little shops mixed with the cobblestone streets.

The highlight of the trip is probably hiking Mont Royal.
It was seriously so much fun and the view along the way was amazing & breathtaking.
My bf & I

Nancy & I at the summit - there is a huge open viewing dock

There are a ton of places to eat in Montréal but one of the best has got to be brunch at Le Cartet!
The design of this place is so unique and inviting not to the mention the absolutely amazing food!

Inside Le Cartet

We later had dinner at Communion - an outdoor restaurant located in downtown Montréal.
Best Sangria ever and of course the wonderful views outside.
Nancy & her husband plus my bf & I
Area where Communion is located.
Okay kids, to end this post, Nancy & I learned a new French word.
We noticed all these 'Sortie' signs everywhere in Montréal, and behold it means EXIT!
But we like it better meaning 'Shortie', like us LOL
Guys, please go visit my good buddy Becky's blogspot, she just recently started blogging BeckyMonster
Please visit & leave her words of support! =) (She's a mixed bag of fun fun fun!)

  4. You look gorgeous in these pictures. It's fun that you got to go to Montreal. The cobblestone streets look cool and I would totally go with it was 7 hours. That city looks really nice and clean.
